Meet Gina

Gina DiNubile has always been drawn to the world of beauty. She loves everything about it, the hair, the makeup, the fashion, all of it! She has long been fascinated by the confidence and transformation the beauty industry inspires. Her journey began at just 14 years old when she landed her first job as a salon assistant. It was there that Gina fell in love with the energy of the salon environment and the magic that happens when people leave feeling like the best version of themselves.

Long before that first job, Gina was already exploring her creative side. In middle school, you could often find her backstage doing hair and makeup for drama club productions, an early glimpse into the artistry and passion that would later shape her career.

Gina officially began her professional journey in the beauty industry in 2004, gaining experience in guest services, makeup artistry, salon operations, and management. In 2014, she joined the Village Salon & Spa team as a Front Desk Service Expert, where her natural leadership abilities and passion for creating exceptional guest experiences quickly propelled her into management. Today, Gina serves as the salon’s General Manager and plays an integral role in shaping the culture, growth, and vision of the Village team.

A lifelong learner and advocate for education, Gina is a graduate of the Summit Salon Business Center Leadership Program and continues to mentor and coach team members as they grow in their careers. She is passionate about building strong teams and creating an environment where both service providers and guests feel inspired and supported. Gina’s long-term goals include becoming a Summit Salon Business Consultant and eventually a shareholder within the company.

As a Clean Beauty Artist with Jane Iredale, The Skincare Makeup, Gina specializes in complexion artistry and bridal beauty. She believes makeup should enhance natural beauty while supporting healthy skin, and she is known for her extensive product knowledge and ability to help guests find the perfect products for their skincare and makeup routines at home. Gina’s dedication to her craft has earned her recognition as Best Makeup Artist in Sussex County in 2023 and 2024 by Coastal Style Magazine’s Best of Delaware awards, and she was also a 2025 nominee, continuing to reflect the trust and support of her clients and community.

Beyond artistry and leadership, Gina is also the creative mind behind many of Village Salon & Spa’s events, promotions, and community initiatives. Her passion for marketing, brand awareness, and guest engagement helps keep the salon experience exciting and connected to the community.

Gina also has a deep appreciation for personal growth and positive mindset practices. She enjoys exploring the connection between beauty, energy, and self confidence, and has a love for crystals, lunar cycles, and astrology. For Gina, these interests are simply another way of encouraging mindfulness, intention, and balance in everyday life.

Outside of the salon, Gina enjoys cooking and hosting “family” dinners, game nights, and wine nights with friends. She’s a proud dog mama to Winston and Ace, and she has a hidden talent for singing, having auditioned for American Idol twice. If there’s a karaoke microphone nearby, there’s a good chance Gina will find it.

Above all, Gina’s passion for the beauty industry comes from her love of people. Whether she’s working with a bride, mentoring her team, or welcoming guests into the salon, her goal is always the same: to help others feel confident, supported, and truly beautiful.
